I was drawn to these as they reminded me of the old "padlock" knuckles we carried as kids years ago. I also liked the idea of being able to carry them in your pocket and if the "coppers" stopped you it doesn't look like obvious knuckles and even if they caught on, they would have a hard time giving you trouble about it.
The good; they fold up just like in the pictures and they open up just as easy. They feel great on the fingers, like you can do some damage but not too much.
The bad; the build quality sucks big time. ALL the screws are loose (and can't be tightened). The things wobble like they are going to fall apart at any second and NEVER stay folded. They open up with the slightest touch (they are even sliding open under their own weight, right here on my desk). The finger holes are too small for bigger hands - they go on real smooth, but take FOREVER to get off - absolutely need a lubricant of some kind to get them to slide back off.
There are no sharp edges, and the finish looks clean. It's comfortable to carry and appears resistant to daily wear.
The compact size and good weight make it suitable for EDC. It feels dependable without attracting too much attention.
This tool has a solid structure. At 88g, it strikes a nice balance between portability and dependable weight.
With a 23mm inner diameter, the grip feels natural. It's comfortable for longer hold without slipping or pinching.
